Repro

Expert ‘pre-flight’ evaluation is a service PageSet prides itself on. Constant communication with printers, allows PageSet to fully understand the requirements to get the best results from a printed product. We check trapping, bleed, image quality, colours, and anything else you are not sure of, before your job goes to print. Publishing
A team of experienced designers dedicated to the publishing department work on a variety of magazines, catalogues, calendars and directories, managing the entire process from layout of editorial and advertising pages to colour proofs and plates. Publications range from weekly to monthly and annual production schedules. This service is provided at our head office in Mt Waverley and North Sydney.

PageSet is able to offer the following services for magazine production:
• Manage advertising placement, including artwork, text, images, logos etc.
• Provide either PDF proofs via email or FTP, lasers and/or Epson proofs
• Provide print ready finished art to printer
• Conduct press check when publication goes to print
• Provide complete file management and backup services

High End Scanning
At PageSet we supply the finest quality scans using the best high resolution drum scanners available. We have the ability to scan variable media to the maximum size of 645mm x 500mm & a maximum resolution of 10,000 dpi. From transparencies to negatives, line art to fine art and copy dots, PageSet has the state-of-the-art technology to scan almost any media and obtain the highest quality colour reproduction.
Our high resolution drum scanners can enlarge a slide to an A1 poster without losing any resolution. Our flatbed scanner is brilliant for reflective scanning, and we can supply a colour corrected trade scan to you on disk.

Film Output
PageSet offers complete pre-press solutions with digital output from both Macintosh and Windows platforms. Two large format imagesetters with high resolution drum recorders offer incredible speed in turnaround of film, and can be produced up to a maximum size of 1070x770mm. PageSet can output film separations instantly, digitally proof, and return them to you promptly.
